Brasseurs de Montreal

I thought I had tried every brewpub in this town...
Has anyone been here?

I'll go this weekend and see what the deal is.  I'm willing to overlook the fact that they have English--and not American--beer.

I'll post a review soon.

Re: Brasseurs de Montreal

If they offered a beer selection any more boring they might as well change their name to 3 brasseurs smile

Re: Brasseurs de Montreal

I checked it out the other day.  The belgian ambree was nice.  Then I tried the ginger beer, which was so-so.  Overall, nothing special.  I agree that they could spice up their selection a bit.  The location is odd too, being right in the heart of the industrial area just west of the old port.

Re: Brasseurs de Montreal

while it think the UK makes some of the most overrated "beers"  some good irish pubs are near the Crecent/bishop area such as Mckibons and Hurleys
