What sort of best man would you be without making the groom fear for his life? Tandem jumping at Parachute Montreal.
For an adventurous groom for whom the sky’s the limit, here are some air-bound Montreal bachelor party ideas*:
*With all the partying and excitement of a trip to Montreal, these bachelor party activities are a bit too much for many groups…So only go with an activity like this if you are 100% confident everyone in the group is able and willing (with no conflicting health concerns) and you know you are going with the most trustworthy services.
Tandem Jumping
If you all really want to “take the plunge” with the groom, a tandem jump will be your best bet. After 20 minutes of training you can jump securely harnessed to a trained instructor. Solo sky diving would indeed be only advisable with considerably more training that would take up more times than most on a thrill-seeking bachelor party trip would be up to.
You can try Tandem Jumping with Parachute Montreal in Saint-Esprit, roughly 30 minutes outside of the city.
Vertical Wind Tunnel
Professional free-fall competitors frequently train in vertical wind tunnels, often called “indoor skydiving” facilities. These wind tunnels simulate the experience of free-falling with wind tunnels that make an 150 mph vertical air column on which you can float! The good news for this option is that it is safe for almost anyone.
You can try this out at Montreal Sky Venture (in Laval), currently Canada’s only recirculating indoor freefall.
Other air-tight options: hot air ballooning, paragliding, parachuting, bungee jumping, helicopter and plane rides where they let you sit in the pilot seat, etc…
Whatever wild bachelor party activity you want to make happen, you can count on Montreal VIP to connect you with only the most reliable services. We are amply connected in the city and surrounding areas, and our bachelor party packages can be completely customized to build your dream itinerary.
To satisfy high standards with minimal effort and extra wow factor, why not consider coming in on a private jet? Montreal VIP can send a private to anywhere in the world, within 4 hours notice!

Who says the bride is the only one to make him ‘walk on air’? Simulated free-falling at Montreal Sky Venture.

Here’s why planning a stag and hen instead of letting him have a men-only affair probably won’t make you the cool couple…but will put you on thin ice:
Coed Chaos
There is a fine line between good chaotic and bad chaotic when it comes to bachelorette / bachelor party planning…And it becomes even thinner for a mixed party.
Why?
1. Birds+bees= BS
Whether this is…
• getting into spats with significant others in attendance (guys equally susceptible);
• having super awkward hookups that though may fulfill certain unofficial groomsmen duties cause drama and tension for the rest of the trip; or
• Complaints about lukewarm or ‘vanilla’ ideas meant to appease…that please no one;
…Drama is the very opposite of what you both want for your pre-marital celebrations…And guaranteed: your Montreal bachelorette party will be a whole lot more fun without the “Pen15 Club” there, anyways!

Why come here for a bachelorette party instead?…Click on photo to learn more about Montreal’s legendary strip club for women…Le 281!
2. Overall planning becomes extra-stressful, and usually forces the bride and groom to take on what would otherwise (mercifully) be the duties of the best man and maid-of-honor…
3. Your whole wedding party loves you two…Not one another.
You all want your friends to meet, greet and bond… But that’s what the rehearsal dinner, reception, and other wedding-related events are for.
Throw a mixed bachelor party in there, you are pretty much guaranteed that when people talk about your wedding they will be talking about all the drama that went down…And not about you two and the amazing celebration of your love you put all that hard work into.
Finally, for those of you who try to go with him to the strip clubs because you want to keep an eye on him are “cool”:
Myth: Having a coed bachelor party makes you the “cool” couple.
But what if you are so cool you will go the strip clubs?
If really up for, it, cool girlfriends can go to the Montreal strip clubs with her guy during a sexy couples getaway…Not a bachelor party.
Not only is this a bachelor party disaster waiting to happen, but constant comments about:
- which ones look like they are on drugs,
- which ones have the nicest shoes,
- how depressing/ gross this is,
- whether or not they sanitize the poles and how frequently,
- what is up with that baby powder smell?
Will ruin the fun.

Here are some basics to consider about your group before your trip to Montreal for a bachelor party:
Date(s) of bachelor party
• # of days: choose the number of days of your Montreal bachelor party wisely… There will be many things you want to do during your trip to our exciting city, and 2 days will likely not be enough…You might think you will get up early every day to cram it all in, but this will not happen.
General budget
Agree upon a budget and collect funds before the trip! (A big reason why bachelor party packages, priced per person, are a best man’s best friend).
Guest list
You want to finalize the guest list as much as possible before getting a bachelor party package, as many (such as ours) are priced per person…
Accommodations
Determining your budget and guest list will help greatly with hotel considerations. If you are on a tight budget, sharing rooms will lower costs, and if you really want to wow the groom: go for the suite! Whatever your budget, a bachelor party package with us will save you $$ on Montreal hotels if you go with us.
General taste of group/groom
The groom is obviously the most important guest to consider, and you know him best so this shouldn’t be too hard. However, if there are guys in the group you don’t know too well, make sure whether they will be into strip clubs and nightclubs or bars and pubs, etc…
Activity considerations
Obviously, you can’t sign a bunch of guys up for sky diving or bungee jumping as a “surprise”…Certain guys may not be up for certain adrenaline-fueled bachelor party activities (even, believe it or not, Montreal strip clubs), and things like scuba diving or even ATV driving require lessons, so make sure activities are appropriate for the group before signing up.
Luckily, we are familiar with the unpredictable nature of bachelor parties, and will happy to modify your bachelor party package should you need to add/remove guests or have other last-minute changes.
Due to the spontaneous nature of stags, it’s also wise to sign up for a VIP host, who you can call anytime during your stay, day or night, if you want to change locations/plans.
